It was fantastic to launch the MCS Umbrella Scheme with our first training course at our head office in Glenrothes, in partnership with Alto Energy.

At the training we had two local companies attending, GM Plumbing and Heating along with the team from Whiterose Plumbing and Heating. SNIPEF were also invited along to take part in the course to understand more about the MCS Heat Pump Training Course as part of the new Umbrella Scheme.
The session provided the companies with hands on experience to learn more about heat pumps, the installation process with several brands and the technical specifics to help them make that first step into installing clean heating solutions. The courses are focussed on providing;
- In-depth heat pump knowledge
- Learn everything there is to know about installing heat pumps, including both air source and ground source heat pumps
- Hands-on experience from industry experts
- Gain practical skills through interactive training sessions led by industry professionals.
- MCS Accreditation
- Once completed, you’ll gain access to the MCS Umbrella Scheme, through our training partner Alto Energy, which removes the hassle of completing the MCS accreditation & associated paperwork yourself.
- Become an Assured Installer
- Have leads provided and attract customers looking for renewable heating solutions.
.
SNIPEF are putting together a feature on our courses in their Summer edition of PlumbHeat, so make sure you register for your copy.
