The ECOcube is the latest addition to our thermal store range, providing a unique space saving solution with bespoke design flexibility.
The range has been specifically designed for smaller properties with a low hot water requirement (such as low occupancy or bedsit properties) where space is restricted. The compact 80 litre and 100 litre models provide an extremely small footprint, whilst still providing a high performance, mains pressure hot water solution.
Our industry leading insulation techniques have allowed us to develop the ‘A’ rated thermal store, reducing heat loss to a minimum and improving efficiencies.
When it comes to mains pressure hot water storage solutions, don’t be restricted to a cylinder option!
Our compact thermal store provides the perfect space saving hot water solution, whilst allowing for bespoke design for installation requirements.
With the rectangular design of the store, it takes up to 27% less space than an equivalent volume cylinder, freeing up space for other uses.

We have specifically designed the ECOcube to suit the tightest available spaces within an apartment, where space is at a premium, maintaining the smallest footprint possible, freeing up cupboard space for additional storage.
In addition to the standard sizes available, the store can also be bespoke manufactured to meet your individual installation requirement.
Having a remote feed and expansion tank also allows for it to be located at a higher level within the cupboard, again allowing for additional storage space.
By adding an ELECTRAflow controller to the package allows for;
- Increase of temperature to 85 degrees, providing up to an additional 28% energy storage
- Allows for up to 3 charge periods to be set to suit your individual hot water requirements

Is the ECOcube thermal store vented or pressurised?
The store is an open vented tank therefore not pressurised. When the water held inside the store heats up, it will expand, however the expansion is accommodated in the feed and expansion tank located at the top of the unit.
Do I need to have the ECOcube serviced annually like a gas boiler or unvented cylinder?
As the store is open vented, it does not require an annual safety check or service.
The mains pressure hot water from the store is delivered via the internal coil and the temperature is controlled by the blending valve, preventing any risk of scalding.
As the unvented cylinder is a pressurised cylinder, there are essential annual safety checks to be carried out to ensure the safety of the product.
How many electrical feeds are required for the ECOcube?
The store requires one electrical connection to the immersion heater, which can be operated during off peak and on peak with the relevant Economy 7 timer.
It is designed to deliver mains pressure hot water without the need for additional pumps, pcb’s or flow sensors. Other manufacturers thermal stores require additional electrical supplies to power the components they utilise.
Are the ECOcube products bespoke designed?
The thermal store is available with standard tapping configurations and dimensions, however we appreciate these layouts do not suit all applications.
Therefore the range of products can be bespoke designed to suit the installation requirements, whether it is due to space restrictions or simply moving tappings to reduce installation time and costs.
