A marine calorifier is a specialised hot water storage vessel designed specifically to suit the demands of boats and yachts.
Although most marine calorifiers are normally specified as unvented, the actual design can be changed to accommodate the unique requirements of your project:
- Vented or Unvented
- Horizontal or Vertical
- Polyurethane Foam Lagging Insulation or Rockwool
- Insulation with a galvanised steel or aluminium case
- Single Copper Coil or Double Copper Coil
- Marine Immersion Heater

The growth in demand for Copper calorifiers is largely thanks to coppers’ enhanced thermal conductivity, as well as its excellent non-corrosive and anti-bacterial qualities. These are proven to be more effective at eradicating germs such as MRSA, E-coli and Legionella. However, there is the option to add a destratification pump to circulate the water and further reduce the risk of Legionella.
We manufacture to BS 853, 1566 and 699 and follow a BSI approved quality plan to ISO 9002 with each Calorifier is rigorously tested to ensure problem free installation and operation.
