When it was time for The Old Smiddy in Glasgow to replace their existing hot water storage system for the busy Pub & Restaurant, we specified a Bespoke 162L POWERflow to meet their hot water requirements.
The benefit of our copper unvented cylinder production allowed us to tailor the unit to the customer’s specific size due to the space restrictions in the property, along with the tapping position requirements, and the slimline version was manufactured and delivered to site in an impressive seven days.
The POWERflow range is designed to deliver superior mains pressure hot water, in this instance, simultaneously to the kitchen sinks and wash basins, improving the performance throughout the premises.
The Old Smiddy, winner of several ‘heart of the community’ type pub awards, began life 300 years ago as a blacksmiths, before becoming a restaurant in the 1970s and adding the pub in the 1980s.
