When an upgrade to the plant room was required, the bespoke designed POWERflow provides the solution in the upgrade program.
BACKGROUND
Lothian Heating Services Ltd carried out the original installation at Waverley Care Milestone House back in 1991 and continued to service & maintain all the equipment over the following years. They were therefore the go to company to carry out the upgrade program.
SOLUTION
30 years on from the initial installation, it has come full circle and Lothian Heating Services who were the main contractor, carried out a full plant room replacement of all equipment including controls, pumps, cylinders & pipework.
This was then followed by each of the four “bungalow” residential units being fitted out with boosted water tanks & hot water cylinders.
A new reliable, efficient & space saving solution for the hot water supply was required. Going from existing horizontal cylinders to new vertical units to save on space & make access within the plant rooms easier.
