PLATEflow Plus took the podium when Aubigny Sports Centre were undergoing a 1.1 million pound refurbishment and required an upgrade to their current hot water storage solution.
The busy sports centre were in the market for an exceptional cylinder that could handle the high demand for hot water and came to us for the ultimate solution. They placed an order for a 1000L Copper PLATEflow Plus with a 350kw PHE c/w DN20 PTRV, control and high limit stat, two 100mm temperature gauges and one pressure gauge, 1” anti-vacuum valve, two 6kW WR type immersion heaters, inspection manhole and insulation jacket. Finished off with 50mm of insulation and galvanised clad.
Our PLATEflow Plus provides a new level of control and ease of installation to our PLATEflow product.
The PLATEflow Plus allows the user to fully control both the Primary and Secondary flows to meet the varying hot water demands by including UK Exchangers’ Packaged PHE, making it a perfect option for the demands of a busy Sports Centre.
Our standard set up incorporates a Primary Circulating Shunt Pump, a 4-port control valve, an Industrial Quality Temperature Controller with LCD digital display, and a gasket heat exchanger, which can have more plates added/removed to suit the Boiler Load.
The system also offers the possibility of connecting to a local building management system if required.
