The team at McDonald Water Storage managed to help a remote customer after years of delay from another manufacturer.
Lee Cruickshank Plumbing & Heating from Isle of Islay had been asked by his client to order a cylinder through a local merchant. The order was placed with the original manufacturer, but unfortunately what followed was over a year of chasing and on two occasions being supplied the incorrect unit.
This prompted Lee to contact David Stewart, Operations Manager at McDonald Water Storage, was when the manufacturer advised they couldn’t actually manufacture that tank the customer required so cannot satisfy the order.
The unit was a 900 x 450mm Indirect Grade 3 bespoke designed with a side entry immersion heater, while not a standard layout it isn’t particularly challenging either to our team. With the initial phone call being made to us on the Wednesday afternoon, our production team manufactured and delivered the tank to an address in Glasgow the following Monday.
