It is fantastic for the company to announce the appointment of our new Sales Director, Mark Strachan.
Mark is a driven and successful sales leader, bringing over 20 years’ sales experience within SME and Corporate markets. Customer orientated and working with his team to deliver the right product and service to his customers, has been key to Marks’ success and certainly make him an excellent addition to Team McDonald.
His strategic and collaborative approach will compliment McDonald Water Storages’ growth aspirations, not only in traditional markets of vented and unvented cylinders, but also thermal store options, expanding into new and innovative areas to provide cost-effective water storage solutions. His degree in engineering also stands him in good stead, to understand the ever increasing complexity of hot water storage and ensures the ideal skill set for both the company and its customers.
Mark said ‘I am delighted to be here and for the challenge ahead. McDonald Water Storage is a well established and successful family owned business, due to celebrate it’s 80th Anniversary next year. It has pedigree with a fantastic reputation for quality, innovation and service. I am excited to play my part in it’s future success, with the support of a fantastic team’
‘Having such a wide variety of cylinders, both domestic and commercial, provides the opportunity to meet a customer’s needs … whatever their requirement. I am particularly excited to heighten awareness of our products which can reduce the carbon footprint and running costs, at a time when it is most current and needed. We certainly want to do our bit in helping the environment, reducing carbon and in the fight against fuel poverty”
Jamie Stewart, Managing Director said ‘With Marks proven track record of delivering results and stakeholder values, he will be a valuable addition to the McDonald management team. I believe he has the same outlook and family values, that we think make our company stand out. Myself and the team look forward to working with him for years to come.’
