It is fantastic to see that our Hot Water Storage CPD Presentations are growing in popularity. Hot water cylinders are an extremely important part of a project, whether it is new build or retrofit, and having the opportunity to promote the benefits of water storage in these times of high energy costs is beneficial.
We have carried out a number of CPD presentations between the team at McDonald Water Storage, to a range of specifiers, contractors and housing providers, with the most recent one to the team at Vital Energi, who provide low carbon energy generation, energy distribution & energy management solutions across all sectors. Showing the flexibility of delivering the CPD, we not only attended the head office to present face to face, but were also joined by a number of the team remotely, maximising the benefit for their company from a single session.
In the domestic presentation delivered, it highlighted the considerations on different cylinder ranges and their application, whether it is a vented cylinder, unvented cylinder or thermal store solution. When putting the CPD presentations together, we wanted to ensure the correct information was provided on the wide options available, rather than them just considering the ‘standard off the shelf’ products, limiting the solutions.
Ben Mohatta, Associate Design Director said “The CPD provided an excellent grounding (we had one attendee who is in their first week of employment after graduating) and provided a good introduction into the thermal storage units which I can see having an impact as we move into the world of low temperature heating circuits but still have a requirement for the production of domestic hot water.”
