Although the business was closed from 22nd December the Christmas period, on the first day of the break we received an email from Hillcrest Maintenance based in Dundee requiring a replacement cylinder.
David Stewart, sales director, made arrangements to meet an engineer from Hillcrest at the head office, so he could collect the 1400 x 450 direct combination unit for replacement before Christmas.
As we are all aware, appliances have a habit of going wrong or failing at the worst times. Having no hot water causes major disruption to homeowners, but by going the extra mile, we were able to supply the very elderly couple with their replacement unit providing them hot water through the festive period.
This fantastic customer service was also shown by Wendy Scotland, Contract Service Assistant for Hillcrest, who also took time out of her Christmas break to work with us to ensure the unit was collected and installed at the earliest opportunity.
Wendy commented ‘A huge pat on the back for your company. You really did go above and beyond, we really do appreciate that type of service and dedication’.
