Friday night was not only a privilege for the Stewart family, but also the whole company, to be announced as winners of the Family Business Award 2023 at the Fife Chamber Of Commerce Business Awards.
For a company that has been trading for over 75 years, it is a fantastic achievement to be recognised not only for the quality of our products and customer service, but also our family commitment, now with the third generation of the family leading the company forward.
The current family members Jamie Stewart, David Stewart and Rachael Stewart, along with the support of the whole team at McDonald Water Storage, are driving the company forward. Everyone plays a part in the company’s success. Continuously exploring new product innovations and ongoing development of both staff and manufacturing processes, they are committed to ensuring the business continues to grow for future generations.
It was a great achievement just to be nominated, especially as Fife Chamber of Commerce received the highest number of applications from businesses who have never applied before. The 16 strong judging panel had spent weeks reviewing the Fife Business Awards applications, before selecting McDonald Water Storage as one of the finalists.
