In these days of mass produced ‘standard’ and ‘off the shelf’ products, great to see our bespoke cylinder design provided the perfect solution to meet the specific installation requirements.
Due to the lack of space available, especially with the cylinder position being different to the original, Surrey based Blades Heating knew they could rely on McDonald Water Storage to design the ideal solution. The tappings needed to be aligned down the front of the cylinder and also to be thinner in order to go back into the space. The installation was far from straight forward as all the pipework and fittings, including the central heating pump and shower pump had to be relocated into the open front area of the airing cupboard. They all needed to be in completely serviceable positions unlike the previous installation, where everything was behind and below the height of the previous cylinder!!
