We were requested to manufacture a specific custom-made tank to suit a very small area using as little space as possible. Our manufacturing team produced this 5 sided 50 litre ELSOflow Opal nicknamed in the factory as “The Superman” because from a birds eye view it resembles the superheroes badge!
The specification stated it had to be wall mounted and fit into a corner unit to replace the customers’ existing Elson unit in their kitchen, so we created the bespoke tank design, going by the sketch and measurements provided by TSG Building Services.
The ELSOflow unit comprised of two ¼” Immersion Heater Bosses, 22mm Hot Draw off & a cold water supply tank. It was fully insulated with 35mm injection foam and cased for maximum heat retention. The unit was designed, manufactured and turned around within a couple of weeks.
The ELSOflow hot water tank range has a selection of water heater cylinders that can be heated electrically, or indirectly by a gas or oil boiler. The rectangular, copper hot water tank are the perfect replacement for the original Elson hot water tanks. The tanks are available as either a traditional combination tank (providing gravity hot water) or as a thermal store unit (delivering mains pressure hot water) with the CUBEflow range.
The beauty of our CUBEflow units is that they can literally be adapted to suit ANY application. It has been specifically designed for installations into restricted spaces, whilst still delivering the best results and providing high performance mains pressure. We can manufacture them to any size or capacity and we can also assist with support frameworks which allow for the units to be sited above washing machines where applicable.
