The famous British clothing brand Barbour were seeking for a hot water cylinder for their new stock warehouse in Newcastle.
They required a unit that could be tailored to suit their specific size and width requirements to fit into the plant room. Being specialists in bespoke cylinder manufacturing, we were able to provide them with the perfect replacement solution in the form of a 2000L Buffer Vessel after being specified by Meldrum Building Services, which was used as a thermal store to supply the heating system.
The cylinder was designed to operate at a maximum of 6 bar working pressure, including 2 internal baffle plates and an inspection manhole for future maintenance.
