Vented Thermal Stores is the traditional approach to a thermal store hot water cylinder system and as such offers a number of distinct benefits.

The main advantage is that the cylinder is not pressurised and therefore doesn’t require to be serviced annually.

It also doesn’t need to be positioned close to an external wall to accomodate the discharge pipe.

The vented thermal store system uses a body of stored water which is maintained at a temperature of approximately 76 degrees celsius by the heat source or indeed sources.

The cold water is fed at mains pressure through the high efficiency copper coil which acts as a heat exchanger.

The heated water is then blended with cold water to achieve the optimum temperature of approximately 51 degrees celsius and supplied to the taps.
