The POWERflow unvented cylinder made the team at Hednesford Town Football Club, commonly known as “The Pitmen”, when they were in the market for a replacement hot water storage solution.
BACKGROUND
The club were undergoing a refurbishment program following an official takeover by Craig and Amanda Gwilt.
The Gwilt family were keen to invest in the clubs facilities and wanted to help stabilise the club for the foreseeable future. Plans to improve the stadium were well underway and they called on us for our expertise and assistance. Along with the help and guidance from project contactors Exgas and Plumbing and Heating Engineers Robert Pochin.
SOLUTION
With our recommendation the club selected a 600 Litre Commercial POWERflow complete with three 9kW WR type immersion heaters, 15mm de-stratification pump & timer, two 100mm temperature gauges and one pressure gauge and all the necessary unvented safety components, finally insulated with 50mm injection foam and a white cased finish.
The Bespoke cylinder was manufactured and delivered directly to site just four weeks from placement of order. It’s primary function will be to supply hot water to the HOME and AWAY dressing rooms.
The POWERflow copper unvented hot water cylinder range provides fantastic benefits with the use of copper coils providing the most efficient heat transfer not only in standard units but also bespoke units, tailored to your size and requirements.
Engineered to provide exceptional mains pressure for showers, sinks, and washbasins simultaneously. Since its launch in the early 1990s, we’ve continuously refined our range, focusing on ease of installation, enhanced reliability, and reduced maintenance requirements.
