PLATEflow provides the answer once again when a busy care home were looking for the perfect Hot Water Storage Solution.
We received an enquiry from Express Heating who were looking to replace a temperamental gas water heater for a Care Home in Dundee. After fitting a couple of our PLATEflow solutions before and being impressed by the performance and ease of installation, they recommended us to the care home.
The particular unit was a 360 Litre PLATEflow, manufactured in copper, comprised of a 50kw brazed plate heat exchanger. All the necessary components were either factory fitted or supplied with the unit including charging pump, flow regulator & connecting pipework.
Originally the client requested a quote for the 300 Litre option, but we advised that the 360 Litre was in fact the same price and would be more beneficial due to the height of the 300 Litre unit being so short, this in turn saved any potential issues getting the plate and pump etc mounted.
PLATEflow is part of our commercial water heater range and is specifically designed to supply hot water in situations where the demand can fluctuate over the course of a day, supplying instantaneous hot water. This made it the perfect solution for a busy care home whose demands can vary dramatically.
