CUBEflow Provides Large Scale Space Saving Solution


Our CUBEflow thermal store range is synonymous for installations into restricted spaces, primarily in apartment properties where space is a premium. With the rectangular design of the store, it  takes up to 27% less space than an equivalent volume cylinder, freeing up space for other uses.

This space saving solution was recently applied on a large scale with a 480 litre unit providing a high performance, mains pressure hot water solution. Although there was a high volume of hot water required, the space was severely restricted and could not accommodate a standard cylinder and one of the largest CUBEflow units we have manufactured proved to be the perfect solution.

The bespoke design unit contained 54m of internal coils with a sealed system boiler coil, heating coil and domestic hot water coil. The unit had a footprint of 700mm x 700mm with the tapping configuration to suit the installers requirements. From the installers perspective, having a unit purpose designed to fit a confined space was a major benefit, and as the thermal store does not require any discharge pipework associated with unvented cylinders, the time on installation was also reduced.
