Haunted Hotel welcome McDonald Vented Horizontal Water Storage Tanks.
One of Britain’s most haunted hotels, The Drovers Inn, needed to upgrade their hot water tanks and came to us for a solution. They wanted to replace their existing tanks like for like and after speaking with our Sales Team to identify the specific outlets and tappings, an order was placed for two 1900 x 450mm Indirect Grade 3 Horizontal Cylinders.
The tanks both had 50mm cold inlet and 50mm hot outlets, end immersion heater bosses, with a maximum working head of 10m. They were both finished off with 35mm of polyurethane foam lagging and cradles to suit.

The Drovers Inn, situated in Loch Lomond is rumoured to be one of the most haunted hotels in Britain! Dating back to the 1700’s it first opened in 1705 as a cattle drovers’ lodging. The haunted hotel have had many a tale of ghosts and ghouls from residents of the hotel over the years and even have some YouTube videos claiming a spirit has been caught on their CCTV footage – check it out if you’re brave enough.
